Living seed-artwork shared by Helle, a student's Mum

A perfect parent choice for our character study was Helle, Daina's Mum.

We love meeting and greeting Miss Hele who comes every morning to visit Mrs Naidoo and us. "Good morning Khobi," she would say. "And how are you Caleb?" she would ask. She seem to have so much energy in the morning to chit- chat and find out about what we are learning for the day. She is also a very sharing person. So she was the perfect choice for our character  study.

She taught us how to focus by humming and clearing our nasal and ear passages.

Miss Hele shared her hobbies and her beliefs in life. She said that there are only two things that she hates-that is having nits and lice and bullying.
"I think I hate more than two things in life" said Elenor.

Miss Hele is a Danish lady from Denmark. She must be in her fifties or older maybe. She is a very friendly person who loves talking to kids our age. She is medium in build and has light coloured hair with fine lines around her hazel-green eyes. She has a very loving smile too.

She says "I never like to throw good stuff away. I would often buy second- hand stuff like a stool and re-use it by decorating it with patterns made of seeds, that can sprout again."

"Wow! look at that cool flower pattern" cries Delta.
"Yeh! that is soo lovely," replies Harishna.
"Can you teach us how to make one of your beautiful seed-flowers?" pleads Teavali.
"Of course I'd love to if your teacher would allow me to" smiles Miss Hele. "No worries, Mrs Naidoo likes parents to share their talents with us," adds Tufele.

And to end off 'Guess what treat we got?' That's right, we got to loosen up, make funny faces and roarrrr like a ... well, like ourselves I guess, Yeh!
